Vaudine has a rich portfolio of publications including biography, corporate history, family stories, reportage and analysis. After decades of living in Asia working in journalism for newspapers, the BBC World Service and others, her focus now is on in-depth research and writing. She helps clubs, companies, families and others discover their previously unrecorded pasts and personalities, and produces beautifully authoritative books for them. Simon & Schuster/Scribner published her work on the multiple peoples from around the world who made Hong Kong a vital port city — Fortune’s Bazaar, The Making of Hong Kong — in 2023.  She earned her PhD in history from Leiden University, the Netherlands in 2024. She knows that everyone has a story, one just has to find it.
